This is gonna be an "interesting" debate, now that the top two have started firing off on each other, while Paul and Huckabee get to sit around and just look like deers stuck in the headlights..

Mitt vs John (and Hillery vs Barack) provides some unintentional comedy entertainment. About the only good thing that can come from this primary.

Go Nukes!   :-)

12-15% of our oil use goes to electricity.  We could cut out Saudi Arabai and Venezuela if we replaced that with nuclear power to generate electricity.

We mostly discussed the debate in the SB tonight.  :-)

I hate politicians.

I could only stomach part of the beauty pagent. I saw Mitt answer a question about why he thought McCain wasn't a true conservative. He turned to McCain and basically told him to "correct me if I'm wrong" and McCain just smiled, kept his head down and kept writing (I didn't notice before that he was left handed - I am - cool, anyway!) The look on McCain's face was priceless. I kept waiting from him to just calmly stab Mr. Weatherman Romney in the neck with his pen.

I like Romney better but I will pull the GOP lever regardless of the name. I'm over the whole election process. At least the Beauty portion. I can't wait til we get to the Talent portion and it's just our guy duking it out with HillaBarack.

And why were they in an airplane hanger? Was that AirForce One or Two? This is what I get for channel surfing. The last time I checked, I saw Larry King's corpse standing there. Ugh. I can't watch him.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Huck had the best line for that. After everyone was saying what Reagan would have done and why he would have supported them, Huck said something to the effect that he wasn't arrogant enough to speak for a man that wasn't there to speak for himself.

Really? I see a liberal in conservative clothing.

I detest his giving college grants to illegals. As for him raising taxes, he's stated that the ones in question were ordered by the Arkansas Supreme Court. He's certainly not the most conservative guy out there, but I'm not seeing the "far-left liberal" many are portraying him to be.

Well he scares me based on what I've read about him. I also don't like his Evangelical schtick. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian and would love to have someone of real faith running the country. I just don't want another socialist leaning Carter type.

I think McCain came off as his usual pompous self...His cheap shots were uncalled for...and I'm glad Romney made him out to be a dirty politician with his cheap stunts.
Huckabee also did well on this debate and scored really well with his answer to the last question about Reagan's endorsement.

I dislike McCain more and more with every debate.
