Buying a smoked Boston Butt from the Boy Scouts tomorrow to cut up as bbq for monday. The meat is amazingly good. Do you have any additives to the meat after cutting it up that would make my bbq more amazing?
Bean recipe? I am sooooooo ready for a good ole bbq!
Baked beans.
Saute chopped onion with slivered bacon.
Add some cans of VanCamp pork n beans. (I drain them)
Add brown sugar, ketchup, worchestershire sauce, a squirt or two of spicy mustard. Taste to make sure it has enough of everything. I use about a quarter cup of sugar per mid-sized can.
Dump into a covered casserole dish and bake for about an hour.
I don't like beans, but I've made them this way for 40 years, (OMG!!!!
) and people always say how good they are.
