Look at my
« on: January 04, 2012, 06:18:44 PM »
New Dutch oven my husband bought me yesterday.  It's not a Le Creuset but I don't care (it's Food Network from Kohls), I love it.

[

Also I took a picture of something I NEVER thought I would buy. A toaster oven. I hate counter clutter and never wanted one for that very reason. BUT we love it. We use it every single day.  My mom bought one and when we stayed with her I found out how usefull and quick it was. I highly recommend everyone get one. The one I got doubles as a convection oven/regular oven. It came in very handy during Christmas. You can cook a pizza in that sucker and it comes out perfect.

Edited to add: the one I have says that you can sit stuff on the top to keep warm and it also had a butcher block cutting board accessory that fits on top (you have to purchase that separately).

Nice DO. Mind if I ask how much?

The only ones I have are these, not really for indoor use, too much soot on them.

Jeezus, BEG, the color on that thing hurts my eyes.  :panic:

I have a Lodge. And I love it. Even heating throughout, never any hot spots. It's a great piece of cookware.

Nice countertops! And I'm with you on the anti-clutter thing. Mrs. E, on the other hand.....aaaaargh.....

I hope your dutch oven works well for you for years to come.  :cheersmate:

It was $99 with 15% off. Then we had kohls bucks so it ended up costing us nothing unless you count what we bought to get the kohls bucks.

If you don't knead bread, why make it?

Nice! Love the toaster oven too. We seriously have no counter space but I would like to get one again.

Not bad. I've looked at Le Creuset............................................................... :o

My sweet boyfriend bought me much Le Creuset for my birthdays a few years back, ok, 4 pieces.  I love them, and I love him.  I will not ever tell him that there is stuff out there that works just as well for much less cost.   NEVER!

By the way, what do you think of my knobs?

Look at the picture of my toaster oven and you can see my knobs and drawer pulls. I was dreading buying some because we have a lot of cabinets and drawers and knew it was going to be expensive. BUT we found these at Target and they were inexpensive. No one would ever know how cheap they were.

We were supposed to look at the knobs too? :thatsright:

My '59 Chevrolet was cobalt blue, but I'd rather have a nice kitchen instead.

I'd "like" your knobs, but that would mean a trip to Facebook which is out of the question.

Seriously, the cost of drawer pulls and such is staggering. When we moved into our house, we discovered there were NO pulls or handles in the kitchen or any of the 3 bathrooms.  :thatsright:  A few hundred bucks later, they're all installed.
