I just got back from the store. There was an Indian/Pakistani guy in there with a large fist-sized growth coming out the back of his head.

It might have been a bun -- if he was a bit younger and is a Seik he is required to keep it that way until he gets to use a proper turban after some point.
Seiks are pretty cool. They were the warrior caste and carry on their traditions with dignity and humor.
