ISIS brags about getting 5 meters from US troops before detonating suicide bombs at Kabul airport

--- Quote ---On Thursday, the Islamic State terrorist group (ISIS) claimed responsibility after suicide bombers detonated explosives outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, killing dozens, including 12 U.S. service members.

Middle East Institute (MEI) senior fellow Charles Lister tweeted an image of a statement released by the ISIS-affiliated Amaq News Agency, which claimed ISIS responsibility for the bombings.

“BREAKING — #ISIS claim responsibility for today’s attack in #Kabul,” Lister tweeted. “The #ISIS claim ID’s the attacker as Abdulrahman al-Logari (from #Logar province) — says he reached ‘within 5 meters’ of U.S. forces before detonating his explosives.”

ISIS is at it.

Rep. Crenshaw Warns ISIS Attacks Coming to US 'Sooner Than Later'
https://www.newsmax.com/politics/dan-crenshaw-suicide-bombing-casualties/2021/08/26/id/1033941/

--- Quote ---Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, on Thursday warned that ISIS attacks will ultimately be coming "sooner than later" to the United States because the war on terror has "clearly not ended" following the suicide bombing in Kabul earlier in the day.

"Their capabilities are obviously still intact," Crenshaw told Fox News, as Mediaite reported. "I'm not sure if this attack is a result of the fact that when the Taliban came through they left 5,000 prisoners out, many of whom were ISIS.

"In any case, the intelligence community saw this coming, and now they assume that whether it's al-Qaida or ISIS, they'll be able to externalize these attacks, meaning do it on the homeland — sooner than later."

Terrorist group Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISIS-K) has claimed responsibility for the attack, which killed at least a dozen U.S. service members and many more civilians Thursday.

More terrorist attacks in Kabul are possible.

FIFY

More terrorist attacks in Kabul are possible probable.

Of course, protective measures will be ramped up (when they get done cleaning up the blood and human remains), which will slow down GropeyJoe's self-imposed exit date of 31 Aug.  :whatever:

Joe needs to go. Simple as that.
