Of course, these are just peoples’ expectations about the future. They are by no means guaranteed to come to fruition. However, price inflation often causes a harmful spiral and self-fulfilling prophecy that ultimately leads to more price inflation.

Let's ignore the effect that rising gas prices had on the cost of everything. Let's ignore the fact that gas prices started rising when Xiden cancelled the Keystone pipeline.

Inflation is going to continue.  This week will be UGE.  If the Republicans live up to their MSM reputation as "the party of NO" and force the Democrats to shut down the government that they control it will be moderate but still damaging.  If they fold, the sky's the limit. 

Even WITHOUT their proposed trillion dollar spending bills the CBO says we are on track for trillion dollar deficits for the next 10 years.  They have to come up with a plan to cover this FIRST before even considering additional drunken sailor spending.

As the son of a former drunken sailor, I resent the comparison between Congress-shits and drunken sailors. No drunken sailor would continue the spending spree once their own money was spent.
