Star Member mia (7,604 posts)https://www.democraticunderground.com/100215418561Gas shortagesWoke up before dawn hearing news about potential gas shortages on the East Coast. I left immediately to fill up my tank at the nearest gas station. There were no lines, and the prices hadn't gone up yet, but there were red bags on most of the pumps that had run dry.

Star Member MissB (14,425 posts) 6. I sold my car on SundayDh and I have been talking lately about getting an EV. I convinced him to go on a test drive with me late Saturday afternoon. Sold my car on Sunday and will pick up my EV this Friday. I’m rather glad that I won’t need to swing by a gas station ever again.I’m thinking that gas shortages might put a bit of a damper on the used car market. Maybe not.
