GOP senators voted unanimously to block the so-called Freedom to Vote Act proposed by Democrats.
On Wednesday, the bill failed to reach the 60-vote threshold to advance. Republicans said they refuse to increase control of U.S. elections by the federal government.
The act was similar to the failed For the People Act, though it included voter ID compromises for West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin. Sen. Chuck Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) latest proposal aimed to take away a state’s right to map out their own congressional districts and allow for mass mail-in balloting nationwide. While many say it’s a Democrat wish list, Schumer has called it a compromise.
Thank God the GOP finally found their spine and stood up for free elections.

Yeah, but how long before they forget where they set that spine down again?

On this one issue the Republicans have been pretty solid, other things not so much.

Caving on this one would be political suicide on the same scale as voting for impeachment.

So, we can expect the shithead Mitt Romney to cave early and often on this, like the Dim'Rat cock sucker he truly is?
