The Miracle That Is A Legislative Investigation

A legislative investigation is a special process by which we can learn:

A vicious dictator with large quantities of nerve gas on hand even before a war can be found to have had no real WMD program, but

One can investigate a political opponent who is Governor and conclude it was a violation of ethics laws for her to ask the Director of Public Safety to fire a trooper she believed had threatened members of her family...

Boy, I can hardly wait to see how the Democrat Congress wraps their little pointy heads around vindicating Barney Frank and Chris Dodd from any role in the economic crisis!  They could probably start by picking Chuck Schumer to run it....

This little explanation came to me as I was waking up this morning.  Anyone who wants to, feel free to rephrase or enhance the details and spread it around the innernetwebs to your heart's content.
