1. Well, it's time to start listing the religion of companies, and shopping accordingly.
If they want to cater only to the people of their own religious faith, then so be it.
Halal butchers have a limited clientele, so now does Hobby Lobby.
Spread the Word....

Starting with Hobby Lobby.

Well will ya looky here, DUmmies all butthurt when things don't go their way. Sorry, idiots. The SCOTUS got this one right.

They got two right. The mandatory union dues by SEIU was tossed out as well.
Mon Jun 30, 2014, 10:26 AMHow is this bigotry? The only ones I see being discriminated against in the DUmmies' abortion-on-demand culture are the unborn.

There must be two dozen threads over there about the Hobby Lobby decision.
I counted forty on the first page and stopped counting.
Every DUmmy wants his own OP.
They can't resist, "Look at me!", "Look at me!"
So what's LFR going to do for "art" materials if she joins the protest?! old cans and diapers can be a medium for only so long. She never bought materials, she just found them on the side of the road.

I don't ever recall seeing a sign at any Hobby Lobby saying "Christians Only".
I did see one that said "Half off Muslin" :-)

sobenji (115 posts)It is childish but I would expect nothing less from a DUmmie.
After I get off work, (yeah, right) my daughter and I are going to Hobby lobby
We are going to take two carts, walk around the store and put every small item we can fit into them randomly and then whoops, forgot my wallet I'm leaving.
It's childish, it's not a nice thing to do, but I don't care.

Prior to the BC mandate employees of HL could purchase BC. Has anything changed?
Honest question.
NU just stomped on them - http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025173199
No replies yet. -Though I am certain that many alerts are being issued as I type this, as the answer to this question destroys the 'WoW' meme they are trying so hard to generate over there.

Insurance discount price yes but why single out women?
This could be your wife or girl friend or sister or daughter. Do you think it is fair for them to pay full boat so their lover doesn't get them pregnant? Maybe the guy should pay for the pills!

Hobby Lobby is still going to cover birth control. It's just not going to be forced to supply abortifacients.
Honest to God, the idiots whose main purchases in life are Cheetos and pot are threatening to boycott again. I'd laugh if Frito-Lay came out as a right wing corporation. Then what the hell would they do?
To think that a DUmmie ever shopped at Hobby Lobby is ludicrous! Almost everything you buy there requires some kind of work! How is it marked, "Made in China, some assembly required".
Shhhhh... Don't tell them THAT -- they are trying so hard to generate coherent outrage.
I knew that there would be more. It's their MO.
Every thing that sends them into a hissyfit results in multiple threads. In each and every thread, the DUmmy's just C&P their reply at each thread. If you read one, you read them all, just in a different order. It's how many of the DUmbasses reach 100K posts. Thing is that only 4K of them are unique.
They are always screaming about how they want us out of their bedrooms and to let them kill babies but yet when we refuse as either a person or company to provide them with the means to abort babies and tell them to pay for it themselves then they cry like children. If I'm not the father and legally responsible for the result of you getting pregnant let alone getting the benefit of having produced the kid then don't come to me asking for money to support your sick wishes in killing the unborn.
This is why Skin's island needs moderators, to merge threads discussing the same topic, just as we do here.
If they merged all the Hobby Lobby threads, which are essentially saying all the same things, into one big thread, the front page would be easier to navigate.
If DUmmies had their threads merged, most would stop posting.

Because of this, covering Viagra for male employees violates my strongly held religious convictions.
I should not be required to cover Viagra or Cialis for my male employees.
SCOTUS, what sayest thou?
As far as I'm concerned, on this specific issue, the only primitives "qualified" to pass udgement on it are the bosses of the indignant women's troops, BainsBane, the incoherent bitch seabeyond, and the redqueen primitive. They're the authorities; whatever other primitives might have to say about the matter is unimportant, irrelevant. Here's one (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025172784), but it's not much.
How will this ruling affect Christian bakers and photographers that own their own company and don't want to provide services to faggots for their weddings?
I still remember when the DUmmies and their ilk brought Chick-fil-A to its knees. Carrying a lot of money to the bank is tough.Post of the day.

Boycott Hobby Lobby and put them out of business!
We have the power of the dollar. They started this, so let's end them.
They want to take basic rights away from women. Let's take their company away in return.

15. The people who shop there now won't quit. This won't work.
It is the best place to go if you need Christian-themed trinkets to decorate your house with. I went in one of those places last year to kill time while waiting for some film to be developed at the drugstore across the street...rough estimate, 60 percent of their merchandise was Christian-themed, 25 percent was home decor stuff that wasn't religious in nature (lots of glass - kinda like an Import Market with no incense), 15 percent was actual hobby/craft stuff.
I glanced in a few people's carts. They ALL had Christian stuff in them.

17. You're right.
But what this ruling does is open the door for other companies to "assert their religious freedom."
Keep an eye out for those companies, and boycott them as soon as they become known.

I love when they argue that this ruling "opens the door" to other types of religious objections.
They got two right. The mandatory union dues by SEIU was tossed out as well.

Its amazing, and really not that surprising, at just how badly theyve freaked out over this without understanding even the basic facts of the case.
Exactly right. The same could be said about Citizens United. If the DUmmies were to read the actual case they would notice that the same constitutional theory applied to corporations is also applied to labor unions. If Citizens United were somehow reversed, labor unions would also have to stop making political contributions. Citizens United basically leveled the playing field.
DUmmies en mass saying that they never shop at Hobby Lobby but are going to start boycotting them.
I love when they argue that this ruling "opens the door" to other types of religious objections. No, it doesn't. It's limited to the aborticides in the contraception mandate. All these arguments about vaccines and discrimination are bull shit. Shut up Dummies.

I realize this DUmmy was trying to be cute here but I agree with the premise. It is the individuals responsibility , not the employers to acheive and maintain a boner. For 50 years I've been paying for other peoples boners(welfare, foodstamps, Medicaid, section 8) why shouldn't they pay for mine now? :-)
I think the DUmmies just can't get past the responsibility part of the argument.
RudeScrunt got into it with NU.
That thread is great, recommended reading. That Rigster DUmmie is a real asshole.
It's a contest to see who can express the most faux outrage.
Yeah, and it's rendering the whole of Skins's island pretty boring, this primitive obsession with the outrage de jour.
