Chicago’s Ricky Hendon: Racebaiter Du Jour

Want an example of the Chicago-Way Politics? Well here’s one… While introducing Illinois Republican Gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady at a West Side get-out-the-vote rally held at the New Tabernacle of Faith Baptist Church State Senator Ricky Hendon decided the pulpit was a good place from which to indulge his inner racist.

The Chicago Trib notes that Hendon started calling Bill Brady all manner of names as candidate Brady himself stood right behind the man.

“Let me tell you a couple things. I’ve served with Bill Brady. I’ve never served with such an idiotic, racist, sexist, homophobic person in my life,” Hendon told the crowd. “If you think that the minimum wage needs to be $3 an hour, vote for Bill Brady. If you think that women have no rights whatsoever except to have his children, vote for Bill Brady. If you think gay and lesbian people need to be locked up and shot in the head, vote for Bill Brady.”

I supposed you have to hand it to Hendon, he’s got brass ones. Most of these racebaiters don’t have the courage to do this right in front of their enemies. Usually they only act the cretin in front of a friendly crowd and without the “white devil” in attendance. But Hendon let it all hang out no matter who was in the room. There’s no account for decorum, civility or even truth where this racbaiter goes, for sure.

But let’s face facts. Ricky Hendon is no different in ideology than any of these other demagogic, lying, racebaiters in the African American leadership. They all want to keep the race hate flowing so that they can keep their lock on power. After all, if they keep the races separated there’ll be no fostering any understanding, no coming together and if the race baiters can keep the hate ginned up then they have a permanent role in the power structure.

Illinois’s Democrat Governor Pat Quinn immediately tried to distance himself from Hendon’s hat speech. “I don’t associate myself with those comments,” Quinn said. Yeah, riiiiight. Unfortunately, Hendon’s blather is typical Democrat Party rhetoric so if Quinn is going to run away from this big mouth he’s going to have to run away from his entire party.

Saw Jesse Jackson on the BBC News Saturday night. He was in London belittling the London police for not having more blacks on their police force and other government payrolls. I guess the money to be made from racebaiting in the U.S. is getting divided to many ways now.

Who would have ever guessed that that we'd come to a point that the democrats would be outsourcing racebaiting.

Why in the name of God would a Republican candidate for governor allow himself to be introduced by a Chicago street thug thinly disguised as a state senator who's running for Chicago mayor?

That's like writing out a sign that says I'M STUPID and asking someone to tape it to your back before you go out in public.

This thug Hendon calls himself the "black Sarah Palin" because he's riding on the coattails of a grassroots campaign to propel him into the mayor's office.

I think this happened during a Quinn rally and it was the introduction for Quinn, not Brady. At least that is what the local news reported at noon.  It wasn't until after the rally that Quinn said he didn't hold those views about Brady. The asshole should have declared that immediately after.
