I get it now. He will start off as governor of NY then in the future be the President of the Federation.
Don't believe me? Watch Star trek the Voyage Home and he looks just like the guy only a bit more tanned.  :-)

Actually, you meant "The Undiscovered Country" (ST6). Here is the picture of Federation President Jimmy McMillan-er, Ra-ghoratreii.

(NOTE: The president of the Federation was not Terran, but Efrosian).



The Fed Prez in STV:TVH was Hiram Roth of the Palestine-Israel region of Earth.

As silly as it sounds, I actually like this guy. He has the Tea Party frustration, but just doesn't have the correct mindset as to the realities of the ownership side of the equation, and how it is government that is much a greater problem to the damn high rents, not rapacious owners.

If he had changed his party to the "My Taxes Are Too Damn High" party, then he would probably have a lot more support.
