If you file a false or fraudulent return, the IRS has unlimited time to assess additional tax. The burden is on the IRS to show that the legal standard for tax fraud is present.

Do you really think the revelation of President Trump's tax information from 25 years ago in the NYT yesterday is the first time the IRS was privy to that information?
