So, without spoilers for especially Chris...what did y'all think about the season premiere?

Interesting purchase Walt made in the opening scene.  Walt don't play   :-)

Set up about a half dozen or so story lines. Going to be interesting to see how they play out.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

I was shocked that Ted is still alive, he's a major player now.  I don't know, but I think the opening scene tells us that Walt's family is dead, and he is getting geared up to go postal on the guys that did it.  We won't know until the last ep most likely.

As always, a great show with really great writing and performances.

I think the cops going to find something in the truck they used at the evidence locker that ties it back to them.  Walt just seemed WAAAYYYYYY too smug with his, "Because I said so" bit.

I knew Hank's wife was psycho. :mental:

What a ****ed up family (still on season 4 and Jesse's friends are still a couple of dumbasses). :-)

Walt has gotten much more smug, hence the title of the show & evolution of his character.

Yeah, but Jesse's character has evolved too. Still a bit of a dumbass, but he does realize what's going on & what the consequences could end up.

So so SO happy to see Mike back. His character adds so much to the show & process of how things will procede from here on out.

It sure was.

I got to watch the first episode for season 5 on AMC's website.  I don't know if they're going to keep putting them online, but I'll check later.

Rush was talking today about that he was told BB was the best show on television.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

For now, AMC is putting the current season's episodes online for at least a few days/a week. Dish network dropped AMC, so that is part of the reason why.

I'm on their mailing list, will let you know when/if they make episode 2 available.

Getting Scoobie into it.  She just started Season 1.  Where she sees Walt standing in the road in his underwear, she's like, "You want me to watch THIS???"

Awesome!  As I confessed way at the beginning of the thread, I found the show by accident about 3 episodes in.  Now I've gotten almost a dozen friends hooked on it.  When we can't get together to talk about it, I get a multitude of texts that night or the next day.  Love it...just like Walt's concoction of blue crystal, I am so hooked on this damn show.

To paraphrase Jesse from Breaking Bad, the show is "the bomb, yo!"

Mad Men is very very good.  Since I'm caught up on all, honestly have to say that Breaking Bad is better, probably Dexter too.  They are all very well worth watching...far better than most of the dreck on TV.

What really sucks is that there are only 5 more episodes, then another break for 6/9 months.  This season has been awesome already!!!!

I am into the 3rd episode?  where they have Crazy 8 locked up down in the basement and dude poured hydrocholoric acid in the ceramic tub to dissolve Emilio's body and well it ate through the tub.  That was gross  :lmao:
