This Is Strange: Total US Deaths in March 2020 are Actually Down 15% from Average of Prior Four Years

What is going on?  After shutting down the government and killing the greatest economy in the world due to deathly estimates from specialists on the coronavirus, the data is showing that this may be one great big mistake or hoax.

According to data obtained from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics Mortality Surveillance System website, total U.S. deaths for the first three weeks of March are DOWN 10% from the average of the prior four years for the same three week period.

The average for weeks 9 through 11 for the four prior years was a total of 170,555 deaths. For weeks 9 through 11 this year, the total is 153,015, meaning 17,540 fewer people died in America during the first three weeks of March than could be reasonably expected. And the gap between historic deaths and weekly deaths is widening. For week 11, just 47,655 Americans died, 8,773 and 15% fewer than the average for week 11 in the prior four years. And while data on week 12 is not complete, it is trending similar to week 11 and will likely be down by 15% (around 8,700 deaths less than expected) even though 1,919 COVID-19 deaths were reported (in week beginning 3/22).

Now after deaths for the entire month of March are reported, the results show that deaths in the US this March are 15% less than the average of the past four years!

According to the CDC’s website, in March 2020 there were a total of 193,000 deaths in the US.  The average number of deaths in the US for March over the four years prior to 2020 (2016 – 2019) is 227,000.  The difference between this year and the average for the past four years is 34,000.  2020 deaths are 85% of the average of the prior four years.

Well now ... what say you?  Sounds to me like they're over hyping the COVID deaths.  I'll bet flu deaths are way down!  Probably all deaths are way down.  Fall down an elevator shaft while going to the hospital?  COVID.  Driving to go pick up that all important toilet paper?  COVID.  Get shot in the back of the head because you asked someone to put on a mask?  COVID.

The sheeple who are convinced the sky is falling will surely respond that social distancing was our collective savior. That masks are, in fact, effective! That our elected lords and masters were RIGHT in shutting us down! Yippee!!!

I have long since lost faith in the government to do anything but feather its own nest, and that includes the CDC. Anything associated with the government - like the CDC and the various organizations that depend on government handouts to survive (Fauci works for one of those) - is automatically tainted.

We shouldn't be surprised at this development at all. Hoax or not, Covid isn't so much a nothing burger as it is a burger with moldy cheese on it, going for 6 times the going rate for cheeseburgers.

KC is on point with the "any cause of death can be assume to be Covid unless testing of the corpse confirms no antibodies and no exposure to the virus" because Dr. Birx even said so.

That's how you skew your numbers and make it look worse than it really is. Right, Fauci?

* Accidents (unintentional injuries): 169,936
* Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 160,201
* Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 146,383
* Alzheimer’s disease: 121,404
* Diabetes: 83,564
* Influenza and pneumonia: 55,672
* Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 50,633
* Intentional self-harm (suicide): 47,173

With people staying home and not contacting each other, that probably is driving those rates down, with a slight uptick in diabetes (more pie?) and suicide (how many online concerts can you take?).

This is my educated guess.

My response to that?  We weren’t staying home until the middle of March in most places, yet the death rates were still lower. My company didn’t ask me to work from home until the 18th of March and we were earlier than most. I’ve been going back to the office the last 2 weeks which is basically Far East Houston, and while traffic is a little lighter, it’s not by much.

Why is Houston, the 4th largest city in this country, doing so much better than New York?  Georgia and Florida are practically open for business and their rates are dropping.

I maintain this virus is not as deadly as we’re being told. I do NOT discount the fact it is killing some people and may be more contagious, that remains to be seen. I simply think it’s been here longer than people know and most simply recovered. I think the cruise lines being mostly in the south probably brought it in and inoculated those starting points, but I could be wrong. Just my very humble opinion.

We should point out that's 2017 data (and like the rest of the ****ing government except for the BLS and the unemployment rate, the CDC is in arrears by three years).
