AZ here, just a quick intro
« on: October 17, 2012, 03:25:26 AM »
Hey everyone!

I just wanted to find a forum with like-minded individuals to share my thoughts and philosophies with. Most of my friends are leftists and feel outnumbered when the issue of politics arises, whether IRL or on a social media outlet. It would be nice to occasionally preach to the choir, so here I am. I also use to be very active politically between 03/05. I was apart of a group at that time called "Protest Warrior" and we basically counter-protested the anti-war protestors. It was fun and I had a good time. But life kicked in and I got married, went onto to attend school and here I am, even though all this time politics were never far from the back of my mind.

As for my personal philosophies, I am a lower-case libertarian but tend to vote Republican on the premise of expediency, not principle. I am a big fan of the Chicago School of thought (don't think Obama, think Milton Friedman) and also really like the works of Ayn Rand as well.

I am looking forward to exchange ideas and have lively discussions.
