Has an IMPEACHED President ever appointed a Supreme Court Justice?

Asking for our Nation.

2. There is no reason that an impeached but acquitted president can't nominate judges

Clinton didn't have the opportunity to nominate a SCOTUS justice after he was impeached, but I would have fully supported his authority to do so. He did nominate other lifetime tenure judges after being impeached and that was perfectly fine, too.

Other than as a notch on your valiant keyboard, Star Moron Firebrand Gary, what difference does it make?

Before Andrew Johnson was impeached he was President, with the full authority of the office of President. And after he was retained in office Andrew Johnson had the full authority of the office of President.

Before Bill Clinton was impeached he was President, with the full authority of the office of President. And after he was retained in office Bill Clinton had the full authority of the office of President.

Before Donald Trump was impeached he was President, with the full authority of the office of President. And since he was retained in office Donald Trump has had the full authority of the office of President.

Richard Nixon was not impeached, Star Moron FireIgnoramus Gary.

In a couple of months, President Trump will be the only U.S. President to be impeached in his first term and reelected.
So there's that to suck on, DUmmies.

"Impeached but acquitted"

Ya, DUmmies, suck on it.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
