Typical ignorance and Christophobia from the DUmmies who know about as much about Christian theology as a chipmunk knows about quantum physics.
Got to love, as others observed, his claiming that a quote first invented in the fictional movie 'Wall Street' (A movie which, as Snuggle points out, was made by an ultra- 1%er who sang the praises of Socialist dictators) was said by Reagan. Idiot.
What the Bible said was that the love of money is the root of all evil. Indeed, unregulated love of money can drive people to do evil things. For instance, liberal icon Michael Moore exploited the people of Flint, slandered good people like Larry Stecco, and insulted the Christian faith in general in his film 'Roger and Me' in order to make a lot of money and further inflate his bloated ego. When Moore inevitably drops dead from a cholesterol- induced heart attack, his mouth probably still full of spray- cheese (I'd imagine his hitting the ground for the final count would create a tremor that would register on the Richter Scale), the demons will probably need to expand the entrance of Hell in order to fit his mass of blubber through it.
"and don't give me the Calvinist view because if your not rich you say God doesn't love you."
Nothing stops God from loving all people. He even loves sinners (i.e. Jesus spoke kindly to the corrupt tax collector Zacchaeus even before the "Wee little man" repented of his corruption; The next time a movie is made about Jesus, they should include his encounter with Zacchaeus and have him played by Peter Dinklage). However, He is also just, which is why not everyone will make it into Heaven.
"Well God must love the Mafia because they certainly are not in financial pain."
As I said, God loves all people. However, if those in the Mafia or the Mexican cartels do not repent and accept Jesus's grace, you can be sure their hideous deeds will keep them from being admitted into Heaven. Incidentally, the druggies on DU are financially supporting the Mafia and cartels by buying dope, thus contributing to the cycle of violence, lawlessness, and murder.
" Rather than waste my time with them, I prefer to think about and contemplate my own spiritual progress."
Although he undoubtedly doesn't realize it, he has hit upon a spiritual point: Before you point out the speck in thy neighbor's eye, remove the log from thine own.
" And they are forgiven for all the people they have cheated, swindled and oppressed."
If they have earnestly accepted Jesus as their Savior, they are indeed forgiven by Him for their sins. They might still have issues with the law if they get caught (To quote O Brother Where Art Thou, "The Lord may have forgiven you, but the state of Mississippi, that's another matter"), but God's amazing grace has covered them spiritually.
"Worship wealth, turn away the refugee, say the sick deserve to be sick, etc."
Most just believe that refugees should be properly vetted before entry, to ensure we are not allowing Jihadists, sex- offenders, or other undesirables to just sweep into our country free and clear. I'd say that is a perfectly reasonable position to hold, and I believe Jesus would feel the same way. We must care for "Strangers in our land," but we must also look after enforcing our laws and protecting our people.
"They want Roe vs. Wade and gay marriage overturned and don't give a shit about anything else."
Fun fact: Roe vs. Wade was a sham trial to begin with. The woman who was the "Roe" in the case lied about being raped (A pair of female lawyers interested in legalizing abortion contacted her and convinced her to do so in order to gain sympathy- points in the case). She later repented, found Jesus, and was a very outspoken leader in the pro- life movement for the rest of her days.
