Jurors should not be punished for expressing their opinion about an alert or about the post alerted on.

And believe me, at over four hundred alerts, I've seen it before. It seems that some of them are trying to bully alerters into letting things like personal attacks be acceptable on DU, so that people who like to bully can bully openly. Only they can't really bully me, because they do not really know who I am, and relatively few of my posts are things that a jury would vote to hide. I used to do work at a TV station, and there was footage of some guy in a truck on the gag reel going "You better not be takin' no pictures of me!" and he kept saying things, but he couldn't do anything, so he stopped yelling but still said "You better not be takin' no pictures of me...". This was funny enough to put on the gag reel.

It is like the bully is behind a fence yelling his head off, while I am laughing. It is funny to me!

Damn.

These DUmmies sure do love the ability to judge others. I thought they believed in free speech!
