A military jury acquitted a decorated Navy SEAL of premeditated murder on July 2 in the killing of a wounded ISIS captive under his care in Iraq in 2017.

The jury also found Special Operations Chief Edward Gallagher not guilty of all other counts except for the violation of posing for photographs with a dead war casualty.

Justice has spoken. He was found guilty of posing for photographs with a dead war casualty.

From what I gather, a key part of the testimony was a fellow SEAL who, having been promised immunity from prosecution, admitted under oath that he asphyxiated the 15-year-old terrorist by sealing off his breathing tube with his finger. The SEAL indicated it was essentially a "mercy killing" since he knew what was going to happen to the ISIS punk when the Iraqis got hold of him.

Chief Gallagher wasn't the only one to pose with the dead punk. Yet he was the only one prosecuted.

WTF?
