So I have a story for this cloudy Sunday afternoon:
The very nice, humanistic, fairly liberal Democrats who are my employer need to go back to Canada for family reasons of tremendous significance. They have dual citizenship for nearly 30 years and are both licensed professionals in two states. Neither has a whisper of a criminal record and are model citizens in every respect.

All that being said, they are terrified to go back to Canada shortly, for fear of at best, harsh treatment at the US border upon their return and at worst, being denied re-entrance due to…whatever. They are not what racists would call “White” and are registered Democrats and subscribe and/or attend many of what these fascists would term “left-wing” websites.

Their friends have had problems, significant problems, upon re-entry, and they are in a quandary as to what to do. I will be very interested in seeing what occurs over the next three weeks. Stay tuned.

In the real world, dual citizenship still means they are US citizens by birth, not by naturalization. They have zero to fear, though drinking Dem/Prog koolaid might cause fear.

Had a person in our church here in Texas who was Canadian, working on their citizenship.  When she went with the church on mission trips to South America, she had a huge folder of paperwork that she carried, and still got held up several times over the years.  IIRC, there were some hiccups traveling back to Canada as well.  She has since moved to another state, but I believe after about 15 years of work, citizenship was finally obtained.

My point is, the immigration system has been goobered up for a long time.  Paperwork has been a pain in the butt for a long time.  Assuming PCIntern didn't make up these "nice Democrats", they are probably well accustomed to these headaches.

Wait a minute, maybe my memory isn't what it used to be, but I thought that not too long ago the PCIdiot either was doing some work in a red area OR was working where there were some MAGA co-workers. Regardless, neither one really sounds like a place that would have a “good” lefty Canadian owner.

I'm too sleep deprived to search the archives, but I certainly recall PC Janitor claiming to own and operate his own dental practice. And always sanctimonious about invoking his politics in an office setting.

Perhaps he's just consulting and filling in because of Bidenomics in his advanced years at another place in Philly/North Jersey or wherever he claims he resides these days.

Ummmmm, OK ... without knowing their name, how would someone discern a light-skinned Hispanic person from an Italian or Greek or ...? Or even from a very tanned farmer?
