Beyond words how stupid that analogy is.

Jim Jones was a socialist/communist leftist, something the leftists conveniently forget.

That, and the fact that the dems are the kool-aid drinkers of the past, and the present.

That goes into the files of trivia questions I'd love to ask but can't because it is too obscure.

Full disclosure:

Jim Jones was a pastor of the particular denomination of which I was baptized in and later became betrothed in as the 5th generation who was baptized in the same church. I've watched many documentaries and lived through the saga albeit at a young age. Obviously he went completely bonkers when he moved from the Midwest to the Bay Area and was drunk with power. Which I think PC Janitor was initially implying by the comparison.

Yep, before moving to South America, Jones was praised by SF pols for helping people. I have zero fear Trump will try to get MAGA-folk to move to a Greenland commune.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

The left would demand the rich be taxed to pay for the kool-aid

If we could guarantee they'd drink it, that would be a fair deal from my perspective...
