We're going to a ZZ Top concert at the Flint Capitol Theater tonight. I thought it was just me, my bro, nephew, niece and spouses. NOPE. Turns out that at two others (niece's father in law and his best friend) are going to be with us, too. I know for a fact that FIL is a big mouthed MAGAt and I'm guessing his friend will be, too. I've taken a Klonopin, in advance, so it should be kicked in by the time we meet up. I was planning on picking up the tab for dinner, but not now.

One the bright side, my family, both blood and by marriage, understand my mental health struggles and are VERY protective of me. I just need to get through dinner and then I can ignore them at the concert.

Naturally I will report back as to how it went.

Also planning to go to the Women's Rally in Lansing, MI on Saturday.

"(M)ental health struggles" ... much as Siwsan might pretend otherwise (s) would have taken the Klonopin regardless of FIL's presence because the music, crowd noise, large crowd, and phase of the Moon all have the potential to trigger a panic attack (ASSuming Siwsan is not using the Klonopin recreationally, of course).

In January 2017 I was "blindsided" at a running event by a couple of women wearing @#$$%hats, because Trump. I did a full-whatever, ignored them, and went on with my race. Afterward, the race organizer included a, "Please refrain from political stuff," request in their event wrap-up email. Since I'm not petty enough to buy and wear a MAGA hat to wear in their next event, I was not affected by the request. Bored yet by this :bouncy" ? Why not? :-)
