As of August 29th, EWalmart will not be doing any more music downloads from their site. I was wondering where do you folks get your downloads???

YouTube. With the help of a freeware program to download YouTube songs to MP3 format (and other formats).

Free YouTube to MP3 Converter. Nice little program, and really fast.

That works well, too.  youtubedownloader used to work on MySpace Music at one time, but they ruined it.

well I had a free trial with emusic for 7 days, so will cancel that, as there is an ongoing contract, and I don't want that. Plus not very good selection, IMO. They don't have the Beatles!! or Rascall Flatts!!! I might stick with Limewire. I don't have a Ipod. Mine is a Phillips GoVibe mp3 player, so am not sure if Itunes will work with that???

MegaDownload.net  It's a search engine for Rapidshit and Mega. Just wait for the ad popper to do it's thing and hit "continue".  I've gotten many albums including the cover art for the CD's I've burned.

I use the downloads in my truck. I have 5G loaded on an 8G flash drive. Every kind of music you can think of, except for the damned Rap crap. I just push it into the USB plug on the radio, and I can drive for HOURS (at least) listening to songs with no commercials.

Something else you can use for youtube is Jdownloader. It will download all the video formats, as as well as the audio format. It works quite well.

As for me - I use google and uTorrent ;)

Free You Tube to MP3 Converter is what I use. Be caeful, though. Downloading it can easily put an unwanted toolbar on your machine.

If you use Itunes you can play the music on any device.

Yep, google is the best to search for things with. I used to use Demonoid and Pirate bay exclusively, but once I learned how to use google, I don't use any of them unless I have to.

I mostly do torrents, so what I do is put in google this: 'torrent: (whatever the name of the torrent you are looking for is)' *with out the quotes*. For example; say you want to find the new Kutless Cd? You would be put in the search 'torrent: Kutless.believer' (the '.' will make it search for dashes, spaces, ext between two words) *without the quote*. It works quite well.

I hate their synch design.

Once you learn the sync design, it is easy as heck to use.

I primarily use Kickass torrents or Pirate Bay downloaded through Limewire Pirate Edition or just use Limewire straight up.

You have to be careful with things like limewire, frostwire, etc. You will get a lot of viruses from those.

Although Limewire does have anti malware protection I still have malwarebytes & system Mechanic.
