Why aren't the DUmmies doing some type of water fundraiser for the citizens of Detroit?

4. We need to turn this into a living wage issue
Everyone should be able to afford basic human necessities such as nutritious food, clean water and adequate shelter. By making this about helping some people who couldn't pay their water bill, we are needlessly limiting the scope of the issue we can make this into.
Who is going to pay the living wage? The jobs are gone. The democrats have chased all of the decent employers away.
Instead of begging for water, the people of Detroit ought to head down to Chattanooga, TN and beg for living wage jobs at the non-union VW plant.
Don't give them any ideas. That is the liberal playbook. They screw up where they live... and then they move somewhere else that ain't screwed up and do the same thing.Great idea. In a few years we can buy it all back for pennies on the dollar and evict the DUmmies to North Korea.
I'm getting to the point that I think the country needs to be divided in half. Let the libs have half, let the conservatives have half. The libs half will be a wasteland in three generations.

In April, the city set a target of cutting service to 3,000 customers a week who were more than $150 behind on their bills. In May, the water department sent out 46,000 warnings and cut off service to 4,531.
