Reference at :15.

It was applied (literally it was an window applique) to people who had the Pimp-ride you are picking up.

Ok and thanks!  In my head I heard that "m-a-u-ri-c-e" sound, but didn't know where it came from.

Ya, guess it IS a pimpmobile, huh?  Well, it'll be a fun ride!   :yahoo:

Oh my.  That is sweet.

Yes, I love the color.  It was such a spur of the moment thing.  I get emails from this auction house all the time because I buy little stuff.  But in today's email I saw this car listing.

I printed out a B&W pic and showed it to my guy, and he said bid on it!  I kinda knew he would want it, even sight unseen.   I think we got a great price for such a low-mileage car.   :-)

Very nice! Looks mostly original -- not too sure about the radio setup, but heck, it's all good.   :cheersmate:

uh....might wanna have your guy put some grease on those battery terminals when you get the car. Keep the acid buildup from happening.

Ha - that radio pic must be upside down and I think there's an 8-track in there!  We'll see tomorrow when we drive over there 2 & 3/4 hours and back again.  He won't even be able to drive it back himself because he needs hand controls put in first.  So I get to drive

Well, I enjoyed driving, for awhile until the brakes failed.   :banghead:

I followed him home and was just fine until I went to brake half-way home and the pedal went to the floor and I almost rear-ended him.  Scary driving the rest of the way home.  When I rapidly pumped the brake I could get a little bit of brake.  I drove s-o-o-o carefully.  :-)

First thing Monday - off to our mechanic's shop.

Too bad his hand controls take a week to 10 days to arrive.  But once the brakes get fixed, at least he can ride in it.

I'm hoping he'll let me drive it to the Chubby Checker concert next month - wouldn't that be fun.
