The E.P.A. administrator, Lisa P. Jackson, is expected to announce the step at a news conference this afternoon in Washington.

The move gives President Obama a significant tool to combat the gases blamed for the heating of the planet even while Congress remains stalled on economy-wide global warming legislation.

The administration has wielded the finding as a prod to Congress to act on legislation, saying in effect that if lawmakers do not act to control greenhouse gas pollution they will use their rule-making power to do so. At the same time, the president and his top environmental aides have frequently said that they prefer such a major step be taken through the give-and-take of the legislative process.

Actually not.......EPA actions can be reversed with a stroke of a pen.......legislation, not so much......

If he does this through the EPA, he will just piss more of the more centrist members of congress, and may result in some "unintended consequences", for him.....

However, this statement by the administration indicates (at least to me) that "Climategate" is having an effect, as they are starting to get panicky about "Cap & Trade".   Not altogether a bad sign.....

Imagine what this window-licking idiot will have "accomplished" by the end of his one term!  Hell, looking at the downward trend after a mere 11 months, perhaps the real question is whether or not we'll even make it to the end of his one term.

Maybe you guys can help me. Wasn't there another day of significance, this is Pearl Harbor day, that the douchebag moonbats tried to cover up with more global warming bullshit? Was it 9/11?
