Dressed in his mother's clothes, driving her car and flashing her license, a Somerset County man was arrested and charged with trying to withdraw $700 from the woman's bank account, police said yesterday.

Tita Nyambi, 25, of Crown Road in Franklin, is accused of multiple offenses, including third-degree forgery and attempted theft by deception, in the incident that occurred Monday at Chase Bank in Franklin, according to court papers. Bail was set at $20,000. ... Nyambi was also wearing the woman's pink blouse

and her black coat, according to the affidavit Detective Bryan Stillwell filed in Superior Court.

According to the bank manager, he was talking to the teller in a high-pitched tone and asked how he could withdraw $700, Rizzo said.

Nyambi then switched to a "natural tone of voice," Rizzo said. ...
