The fact of the matter is...Melissa doesn't like her authority questioned.  Period.  End of story.

For all her haughty talk about what a mortal sin it would be to EVER lock a thread in the Dome at CU...she ran that section with Fascist efficiency.

And now she's got an entire site to control in the same manner.

SHe's your best buddy...as long as you don't ever not TAKE her advice or question her authority.

I was banned for making a joke in the ROC Lounge and for asking a couple of questions in PM's that I guess made the Admin have to think too much.

DU_rejectx was a good guy at CU if I remember correctly.  He'll be a great addition here if he comes over.

If Mellie and her Draconian Admin style keeps running scaring people away...Bok Tukalo/Arroyo_Doble will be the "conservative" member over there.

Yes, they are. And they do that to both sides. Scott hasn't be an admin there for months.

Really? I haven't been there in months because I really didn't see the point after awhile. Who's the ROC admin?

I really don't understand why people are ragging on NU. Running a site like NU, which has people from both sides of the political spectrum, can't be easy. The admins don't get enough credit.

Padawan, rereading this thread will reveal that no one is saying it would be easy to run a board with both sides of the political spectrum nor are they arguing that the admins don't get enough credit.  People don't like it for various reasons, and that's okay.  Just like people not liking this place is okay.
