Is this an accurate portrayal of Black America?
« on: November 29, 2011, 04:42:08 PM »
I saw this picture just now. I feel it is racist and biased against White-America but I might be wrong (not sure).

But I thought I would share. (was posted on a big chan imageboard)

I guess it's accurate for the people in the photos, but you already know that generalizations are generally wrong!

Well that's not a little biased is it/ now if I were to do a downtown photo excursion in the downtown detroit area focusing specifically on the same comparisons and then went out to the suburbs, I have a feeling what I find would paint all blacks as self-indulgent, thieving, dirtbags who would shit even on their own and whites as fit, active, good natured, classy citizens who enjoy being members of their community. I could even add a couple of side by sides of black names versus white and clothing choices, but this is all very silly really.

BTW, I don't find a lot of those pictures of blacks to be very positive either unless you are a militant, racist, black with a big chip on your shoulder. I think it paints a stereotype of black bias and intellect that follows the crowd and sees themselves as perpetual victims. Where only certain types of music and looks are accepted in the black community. If you stripped away the white comparisons and only focused on the black, it might give the dingbat who made it some insight into why the black community has the issues that it does that excludes its members for not being afro-focused enough based on very outward appearances or shallow thought processes.

that original picture seems very outdated (Vanilla Ice?? Really??) and obviously designed by someone who no first hand frame of reference.

Cyrus, you're not wrong.   Someone could just as easily assemble a collage of pictures that make white americans look positive and make black americans look negative.

Okay I understand the Black America pics are bias but is it true that Black men are more genetically attractive to women than any other race? I'm not Gay so I don't know but I saw a lot of "Handsome Black men" videos on Youtube and a lot of the women commenting were non-Black and they all said things about how Black men are the best.

I'm not a black man or a geneticist, so I don't know.  It sounds like a load of bullshit.

Are Persian men more attracted to white women?  It's a stupid generalization.

I do not know any Black people but I just wanted to say that I have observed from the pictures I have seen that Black people have great bodies. This is something which I as a straight heterosexual very much appreciate. I have been trying to get in shape for years.

Black ,white, yellow and brown are there any other colors that identity humans? Libs claim they want us all to be equal but they can't even see past color!
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

There are plenty of fat black folks too. When you see pictures they tend to show the people in best shape. Just like if you look at a lingerie catalog and didn't see any other pictures of American women, you would think they all are skinny with big boobs.

I see racism in both sets of photos, but most particularly in the white side.   Looks to be a quite lame recruitment poster for the NBPP or NOI.

Cyrus you state you do not know any black people, where do you live, at the artic circle in an igloo ???

Is it possible that anyone on earth has never known a Black, an Asian, or an European ????

If you refer to being friends with a black or working 8 hours a day next to a black or ever had a black Doctor or Nurse, what, you are held hostage in someones cellar or attic????

Never been in the Military, Peace Corp or to any Christian Church.  What is this never known, you mean in cardinal knowledge or ever had a Black neighbor???

Something smells as bad as salt red fish used for lobster bait.

My dear this body comment is a tip off, I have seen better built Asians then some of the Black men I have worked with.   Some Indonesian men at 5 feet tall right out of the Jungle are attractive to woman of all races.

It is not the body but the mind that attracts most woman be they of any color. Look what Jackie Kennedy married.

If you worry about your self go to the gym after work for 4 hours  7 days a week, bulk up, what will this get you if you want to attract men or woman???   Not much if you have no people skills, it is the personality that attracts friends and lovers, not the puffed up arm muscles,.

------If you wish to be happy for the rest of your live, you need to marry an ugly wife/ or husband.

That would be a wholly media-driven image.  Black people run the gamut from being stick thin to being as fat as a parade float (probably more in the latter group than the former).  If you paid attention to what popular media and advertising showed you, white people are portrayed the same way but it's obviously not true.

Actually what you see is that Black people who other people want to take photos of have great bodies.  In reality Black America has an even bigger lard-ass problem than White America.  There is a difference in muscle definition, which is an artifact of the Whites being adapted for life in colder climates, so they have more subcutaneous fat tissue, but once you get up past a fairly low body fat percentage, the difference disappears.

And they seem to have omitted a State or Federal prison from the images of 'Where Black People Live.'
