The DUmmies are fully obsessed with this event. General Discussion might as well be renamed Beck Discussion. There are maybe a dozen threads on page one that are NOT about it.

The little woman and I just got back to our room a few minutes ago, and we're sitting here with goosebumps!!!!

As for the primitives, we're gonna forget they exist for the day. This is for America, which has always been greater than myself.

Thank you all for being here, and thank GOD I found this site!!!!

The counter at the bottom of the live stream is showing over 126,000 people viewing online alone.  Don't know about those on the tube at the house.

Did I miss the guest that would make our jaws drop to the floor?

It's already 1pm EST.

LOL  The DUmmies are trying to figure out what the rally was all about!  Religion?  Politics?  WHAT?!

DUmmies .... it was to do a couple of things but mostly it was a FUND RAISER.  You wouldn't want to know for whom the money was raised because you don't appreciate them but we do.

Sarah Palin was an announced guest.  Glenn said on his radio show that he wouldn't tell us the name of a guest until the day of the rally.

I turned on the rally right around the end of Sarah's speech.  Boo!

Oh. Maybe we can go to DU and find out. They know more about the Conservative movement than we do.

Man o Pete.  How long is it going to take, for a pictorial comparison between today, and the day of MLK's speech?

After reading all the pissed-off DUmmies today, I have to laugh at this.  You know if it had been a "progressive liberal" rally, they'd still be cleaning up a  week from now.

Anyone know where I can find those pictures of the Mall after the coronation inauguration of "Teh Wun"?

Place looked like a garbage dump.

Crowds leave cups, gloves — even flags — on Mall
By Associated Press

POSTED: 07:30 p.m. EST, Jan 20, 2009

WASHINGTON: Inaugural revelers are lucky they didn’t get fined for littering.

As crowds cleared the city today, their trash covered the National Mall and Washington Monument grounds after President Barack Obama’s inauguration.

They left behind plastic bottles, newspapers, food wrappers, gloves and even American flags they had been waving.

Yep, the ones that destroy public housing, disrupt public gatherings, block the streets and highways, trash where they live, demand more free stuff and do not respect the property of others.

You know, these damn liberals should really come out of their shells and mingle with the people they so worry about.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Marcus Luttrel lives less than 30 miles from me.  He chased some folks through our area about a year ago because they killed his dog.  We LIKE Marcus.

Those so called people were lucky the cops got to them before Marcus did.
