I think she was doing the "jeannie gesture" when they took the picture.  you know, the thing she did just before she misclicked her master into an alligator pond or something?

WE, you just want me to call you "master" and I refuse.  :lmao:

I can't find any interesting photos to post from petticoat junction, but the theme song gets stuck in my head sometimes . . .

"it is run by kate come and be her guest at the junction (choo, choo, choo, choo) petticoat junction"

and then something about uncle joe being slow.  (obviously, I just sort of hum a lot of the words) :-)

oh she's cute, you weirdo.

I always thought Lena Horne aged very gracefully

So did Sophia Loren

and Raquel Welch

raquel welch is utterly out of these other chicks leagues, dontcha think?  we are in the "pulp sitcom" arena . . . discount shelf stuff;  you know, answers to trivial pursuit questions. :-)  not to even mention sophia loren.

Forget about your cares it is time to relax at the junction (Petticoat Junction)
There's a little hotel called The Shady Rest at the junction (Petticoat Junction)
It is run by Kate come and be her guest at the junction (Petticoat Junction)
Now that's Uncle Joe he's a-movin' kinda slow at the junction (Petticoat Junction)
Lot's of curves - you bet! - and even more when you get to the junction

yer skeery.  I had to google it. :-)

The skeery part is I think I;'m closer to right than what you googled.  I know the "lots of curves" was the last line.  That's when the three girls pulled their knicker off the side of the water tower.

Meredith "Billy-Jo" MacCrae died in 2000 at the age of 56.  Brain cancer.

morbid site, but I was very sad to hear about richard jenni when he killed himself, and I didn't know he had shot himself until I read it on that site.  he may have been the funniest comic I ever heard.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Another one from years back, Ann Robinson from the movie "War Of The Worlds"
She told us that for the most part doing the movie was ok but her co-star Gene Barry was always trying to upstage her in all the scenes so she got fed up with it by the time the farm house scenes came up and when she got the chance to get back at him she jammed a washcloth in his face till had to push her off,LOL.

Thisis the event where I go to see all of the stars of the past. This year they are bringing in the two guys from 2001: A Space Oddessy and the lady that played Nova in the original Planet of the Apes. I hear she is still hot.

I couldn't load the pictures of the talent from last year so I put the link up. Denise Crosby and Robert Picardo from Star Trek: TNG and Voyager were there as well as Batgirl
