So I have this totally brilliant plan

for eliminating election fraud, restoring honesty to the system, and turning government into a profit center rather than continuing as an ongoing and crippling expense that we can ill afford in these difficult times. Here's how it works: All Federal political offices will be awarded on a simple auction system. The Presidency will go to whoever is willing to pay the most money for it. The same with all Congressional seats in both Houses, Cabinet posts, etc. No official will be awarded any salary; they will instead generate income by selling their votes, executive decisions, and other official actions.

While this plan may sound like a radical departure from the way things are now, a moment's reflection should enable you to grasp that this plan is merely a very efficient and cost-effective variation on our current system. Campaign contributions can go directly to the politicians, who will use this funding to buy their positions. Whoever can gather the largest amounts of money by selling themselves to the largest and most prosperous groups of contributors will be the ones who will succeed in attaining office, but without all the encumbering machinery of political campaigns and rigged elections that we now employ. Once in office, politicians will have no need for a salary because there will be ongoing opportunities for them to generate income by selling their votes, again to the highest bidders.

I really don't see any shortcomings to this plan. And furthermore, I anticipate that all Republicans and at least half of the Democrats now in office will immediately recognize the wisdom of my proposal, so I fully expect it to be enacted before Christmas.

A DUmmie  trying to be funny.

Isn't that how the DNC-MoveOn-Soros Party has been run for a decade or more?

It must be that any DUmmy with a sense of humor, or even one single clever bone in his entire odiferous, bloated, unwashed body, has been tombstoned. I have never read even one "witty" post at the DUmp that could cause a snicker or a smile, regardless of one's political leanings. On the other hand, you can often laugh out loud at some of their most serious posts. It must be the Stalinist influence on moonbat democrat politics.

I went to the DUmp to read this post. Since he didn't use that stupid "sarcasm" thingy they all think is so cute, I expected at least one of them to think he was serious and tell him to "enjoy your stay".

I got a plan.  Prove that you are a net contributor or retired and get to vote.  Welfare, sec8, SSDI system sucking pig....no vote.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

That was once the law.....but democrats were running out of votes.....and they hadn't learned to raise the dead yet.

I'm not sure I see the difference between the "Brilliant plan" and the current system.  Oh wait...I guess under the DUmmie's plan, the Treasury would get the auction proceeds, but under the current system, the media gets it.
