Kind of a cheesy movie, but kind of funny.

My kids LOVED it, I giggled a lot.
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

I haven't seen it yet.  'District 9' comes out on DVD Tuesday.... I'm not big on renting movies because my DVD player is a piece of crap, but I'll be renting it.

I saw it when it first came out in theaters.  Kevin Farley is no Chris Farley, even though they are brothers, but he makes a good Michael Moore.

All the terrorist having the name "Mohammad Hussain" was funny as well.

I liked it, though I went in thinking it was going to be more "Airplanesque" than it was, since the Zucker brothers were behind it, but it was a pretty good movie.

I don't know how the critics rated it, but back when I watched the "Today" show, if Gene Shalit panned a movie, I was the first in line to get tickets for it, while he raved about movies I have never heard of, usually some artsy-fartsy subtitled POS that would get great play at Cannes....

Be prepared for lots of jerky camera movement.  Most of it was filmed like it was a documentary or news footage.
