I’m white, so it isn’t just people of color who hear this. I’ve always been a Progressive Democrat, and I’ve heard it because of that. I’m bilingual so I’ve heard it because of that. I’m anti war so I’ve really heard it because of that.

What I have been told is that if I’m so unhappy why don’t I go live in another country, or that I would be happier in another country. People have asked me why I live here. My answer has always been that this is my country and that I love it. This response so far has been the winner in these confrontations. They don’t expect an answer because they think that just by saying it they’ve won some contest. A contest that only exists in their head.

This entire thing is just the first time it has been said by a President to all Americans.

He embodies the lowest common denominator of the dark side of this country. He’s a bigot. This will only serve to unite us even more.

You want to change everything about the country- but you love it.... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...

oh- and I guess it's not racist then, either.

So ... why haven't you accepted the invitation?

What DUpipo don't know or choose to ignore is that Trump's Tweets were not "love it or leave it". The Tweets were a challenge, basically, "If you think you know how to govern the US better, go back to your families' countries/territories of origin, fix them, and then come back and show us how it's done." Trump's clear meaning is so opposite from how the MSM and Dems are representing it that the Dem's and MSM are clearly intentionally lying. Unsurprisingly.

The MSM more so because (at least on websites) they have story after story about "Trump's racist tweet" but they never bother show the actual tweet. Neither an image nor verbatim. The day he sent it there was at least a link to the tweet but most stories do not even do that.

IIRC, there were three Tweets in a series. There would, IMO, be just two possible reasons the MSM don't show the Tweets: they are horrendous; seen together the Dems' and MSM's lie is exposed. It's the latter, Trump's Tweets contradict the MSM narrative. Ann Althouse gives the Tweets in single paragraph form Althouse is moderately liberal and not a Trump fan, but she's honest, which makes her not-DU-compatible.
