Forget Donald Trump.
Go after those that aided and abetted, and were complicit, in his crimes.
Take Trump out of the equation. Charge all the others that betrayed our country and carried the water for Trump's desire to hold power.
Go after those that told the Big Lie about the election and those that broke election laws.
Go after those that organized a rebellion against our country.
Go after those that defied lawful subpoenas from the Congress of the United States.
Go after those that knew the truth but chose to cover it up.
Go after those that conspired to overturn a fair and legal election.
For the time being, forget Trump.
Charge those that committed crimes for him and betrayed our country.
Then, go after Trump.
In my opinion, that would be the best way to handle this investigation.
Charge them with what?

2. I wish I could forget him. I really don't want to read any news about him
unless it's that he's been indicted or that he's dead.
Those are headlines I'd love to see.

6. I think that's what's happening although it's not necessarily making headlines
there's numerous investigations going on right now, the DOJ and the actual people who entered the Capitol unlawfully and the destruction. In that there's been many, many arrests and eventually they'll climb the ladder to those at the top.
Same is being done by the Jan. 6th Commission. If you look at those subpoenaed, right now they're at the base of the ladder in that who organized and funded the rallies and will work their way up the ladder as more information is gathered.
At some poin, those two events will merge.

8. starve him from the spotlight
I can see the logic in that.
He's doing everything he can to look larger than he is, when he really only controls about 10 percent of the electorate. (GOP is 25 percent, Trump's share of that 25 percent is 44 percent. Roughly 10 percent of the electorate.)
Much of what Trump is, is smoke and mirrors and loud belching sulphur. He really is a very small man.

10. Take away his 'pulpit'.
Star Member Mr. Ected (7,466 posts)
12. Then, go after the propagandists whose pulpit is vast, wide-reaching and toxic
As long as hundreds of millions of Americans are subjected to a daily dose of lies, we can't hope to humanize them from their zombified state.

13. I am so tired of seeing just Democrats grilled on the MSM...
I guess the Republicans must be hiding out or refusing to go on with the "fake news" or only going on the FOX News network?
I would like to see every Republican heavily grilled by some good reporters.

I suggest he go after the big crack in my ass.

The bluegrass primitive does seem to be growing ever militant. This rant of his is a call for torches and pitchforks.

What is it with DU (and others on the left) and their tendency to suggest things the democrats are already trying to do?

I too think many people at the FBI should be arrested for plotting J6.

What are you afraid of?
They aren't really Trump, he is just the personification of their fears, people who love the country and cherish freedom. People who believe in America First and Americans First terrify the DUmmies.

They're getting impatient, that's all. They seriously thought that Trump would be rotting away in a prison cell by now for his multitude of obvious crimes. I will say their crying and wailing that hasn't happened and likely won't, brings me joy. :-)

4. I hope you are right.
We will know when someone is charged, other than the weak-minded criminals that attacked our Capitol.
I wish that they'd release more video of the so called insurrection. About all I've seen is some guy put his feet up on Peloski's desk and maybe stole some of her stationary. No fires were set, no spray painted ACAB graffiti. I saw cops pulling open barricades and waving people through. I saw cops holding doors open and waving people in. The only real violence I've seen is the policeman fatally shooting the unarmed demonstrator.
