The primitives are saying that President Trump is a coward for not going to this stupid dinner, I applaud the move.  Let all the lefty journalists go hob nob with all of their Hollywood chums and they all can spend the night patting each other on the back.  Let them have their nerd prom--they all think that they're so smart.  You just know they are going to get stupid and make fools of themselves and Trump is going to end up doing something that very night that endears himself to his supporters while, at the same time, discrediting the left.  Brace yourselves primitives, Trump is going to punk you again.

This primitive knows what he's talking about.  Must be a mole.  Doesn't matter, since the other DUmmies won't pay heed.

9. Maybe he is not robust enough to handle an evening type event; is there a health problem?

Inquiring minds want to know!!!
Maybe he'll collapse in a slobbering, quivering heap, just like Cankles did on 9/11/2016.

Trump didn't get elected to participate in these business as usual, dog and pony shows.  It's good to see him come in and turn the town upside down and drain the swamp and break with stupid traditions, which is what he's doing and what is making leftists the ones who are really scared.

Those stupid little DUmbass goons have no idea what's happening to them and their political way of life.  The days of liberals being in charge, even when they are not in charge, are over!  The "press" and the rest of the democrat party are just shells of their former selves.  It's over, DUmmies.

He could give a press conference to all those who were not elite enough to attend the dinner.

Why are liberals so bent out of shape by this? President Trump will have 7 more chances to attend one of these things.

I'm glad to see this.  I don't want my President and the press to be too chummy.

Wow! Someone with a little - be it twisted - sense. DU-folk should wonder what he will be doing instead of the rubber-chicken ritual of glad-handing and schmoozing a bunch of people who loathe him.

Indeed! WJC was an expert chummy-schmoozer on one hand, but on the other used access and reporters' laziness to get blatantly biased favorable coverage.

The MSM is just pissed that Trump beat them to dis-inviting themselves.  They probably thought THEY were going to be the ones to stand Big Cheeto up.

Agreed - I believe there was an unwritten plan for the press to march out in protest, then the press could cover the press in the news - one of their favorite topics ! Now, not so much.

If he went and smiled at the press (new acronym EOA pronounced "ewww") those same libtards would slam him for being 2-faced.

He has made it clear he has seen the EOA for what they are and will have no truck with them until they clean up their act and report facts.  They already misquoted him from the CPAC meeting which was JUST A FEW DAYS AGO.  They don't learn that Trump and the we custodiet ipsos custodes will not brook the slightest lie anymore.

That would be fantastic. Drop some major news at the presser and then take a ton of questions from the press that are there instead of at nerd-prom.

Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I am of two minds on this. On the one hand, it can be portrayed as cowardly and thin-skinned. On the other hand, he doesn't need their approval.

IMO, he should have declined by tweeting "Will not attend WH Correspondent's dinner. The press already lies and tells jokes about me, they don't need my presence to do so."

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
