I am a Democrat that votes straight Democratic all the time, but I'm here to tell you that I wish all your moles the best of luck in destroying the community of loony ****s that is Democratic Underground.

It's completely disgusting to me that they are considered a true representation of the Democratic Party when they ban people like me for defending the party platform and its leaders.

Keep poking sticks at dipshits like PowerToThePeople, Octafish, kpete, Segami, 99th_Monkey, quinnox, Fire Walk With Me, MannyGoldstein, woo me with science, Catherina, Cleita, and nadin and watch the fireworks fly.

Well, thanks...most of us have no problem dealing with an opposition that is honest but just based on a different worldview and philosophy, and acts with integrity and even-handed justice when in power (Somewhat of a shortcoming in the current Administration on that).  However, DU exemplifies the worst Authoritarian Personality traits and magical thinking to be found on the Left, and of which they are all so fond of seeing in everyone else when all they really need is a mirror.  They put me in mind of the worst sort of people to be found in the French Revolutionary Committees of Public Safety, where revolutionary fervor and denunciation counted for vastly more than competence or logic, with rivers of innocent blood flowing as a result when they managed to impose their 'Enlightened' governmental ideas.
