SyFy has become a joke with wrestling , ghost hunters and other paranormal "reality" shows.  I'd say Obama is going hard after the "troofers".

Wraslin' on the SyFy Channel...

OK. so Joe Six pack is watching Sharktopus on Syfy when an Obama ad comes on.
How is he going to tell when the unbelievable fantasy ends and his movie comes back on?

I watched the Syfy channel back when Battlestar Galactica was on, but about halfway thru the third season, it became unwatchable, even with Richard Hatch.

I DO so miss MST3K!   :whatever:

Those MST3K guys have done two live shows here in red state hell in the past year.

The first was "Reefer Madness", and this summer they did "Manos: The Hands of Fate".

I believe "Manos" is a worse movie than "Plan 9 From Outer Space".

Their shows were hilarious.

That brought a tear to my eye. ^5

I LOVE wrestling! I've been watching since I was about 13. Portland Wrestling, every Friday night. It's a family tradition now...over-the-top soap opera and muscles. It's Chippendale's without teh ghey and bow ties!

There's been some stealth advertising I've noticed on Warehouse 13, most of which could be written off as just the way things are. But I do not remember seeing pictures of GWB in government offices during his terms. Doesn't mean it didn't happen. I just don't recall seeing it.

I do remember seeing Bubba's portrait in quite a few TV shows back in his era.

There seems to be lots of subtle and not so subtle digs against conservatives in many TV shows.

You can see GWB's picture on the wall in episodes of NCIS.

Yeah, I'd think that commercial time on syfy would be dirt cheap.  Aside from the ghost hunting, all I see on there are movies that desperately need some MST3K treatment to make them watchable.  I guess stoners might tune in to the channel.  Unless the ghosts freak them out.
Indeed.
If MST3K were brought back, they could probably get at least two seasons' worth of material from just Syfy's craptacular made- for- TV movies.
Though, I am starting to become an 'Alphas' fan, that show's pretty cool.
Syfy's '31 Days of Halloween' marathons in October are usually alright, but this year's mostly looks terrible.

I guess I'm in the minority here; but I love Ghost Hunters. It's the only "ghost hunting" show I really enjoy. I also like Destination Truth (Josh Gates is hilarious); Face Off; and Haven. I don't care for the B horror movies, though.

I'll take Face Off any day.  That's a pretty cool show.  I will also DVR just about all the Twilight Zone episodes they run on the holiday weekends.  We LOVE us some old Twilight Zone episodes.

That's good to know. I've never watched that show even though I like Mark Harmon.

OMG! MANOS! That is one of the best MST3K eps EVER. It is one of the only ones I have on DVD, but it was money well spent.
