Mission Statement

PrimariesForPalin.com aims to nominate Sarah Palin as the Republican presidential candidate by encouraging Democrats and Independents to purposefully vote for her in state primaries. In head-to-head polls with President Barack Obama, Palin consistently fares worse than other possible Republican candidates because of her divisiveness. If Palin is nominated, Obama has a much better chance of winning reelection in November 2012.

http://politics.slashdot.org/story/10/12/30/213246/Democrats-Crowdsourcing-To-Vote-Palin-In-Primaries

Quote
SharpieMarker writes "In what could be the most extreme and influential crowdsourcing project ever, Democrats are beginning to organize to purposely vote for Palin in the 2012 Republican primaries. Their theory is by having Palin as an opponent, Obama will have the best odds at winning reelection. Recent polls have shown that Obama comfortably leads Palin by 10-20 points, but Obama is statistically tied with Romney and barely ahead of Huckabee. They even have a state-by-state primary voting guide to help Democrats navigate various states' rules for voting Palin in Republican primaries."

I would love to see this tactic go coast to coast.

There were some strange voting rules in S.C. back in alte 70's early 80's.....you could vote in both primaries....the dims went for the goofy actor.... :rotf:....and then later the peanut man.... :rotf:

They changed the rules after that...if you voted in one primary you couldn't vote in the other....and being that most local elections were decided by the june democrat primary (there was never any republican opposition)...they (dims) didn't like the new rules/laws the dim mucky-muckys had passed.

So, overall, I'd say go for it S.C. dims....it worked out so well the last time you did it.

Be careful what you wish for, they're talking $5.00 per gallon gas prices by 2012, and with that prices of everything else will rise including food prices, and who will Americans blame if that happens? clue, it ain't going to be Palin.

Correct. When everybody is suffering because of outrageous fuel prices, everyone will be hearing "Drill baby, drill !" in their minds, and blaming Teh W0n for not acting upon it.

Not acting on it?  Hell, he has actively prevented it with bans on drilling and is continuing his war against energy independence .

While America suffers restrictions on developing its own oil resources, it apparently is supporting and giving financial guarantees to foreign individuals and organizations in Brazil.

The Wall Street Journal reports: "The United States, through the U.S. Export-Import Bank, has issued a 'preliminary commitment' of $2 billion and more if needed" to Petroleo Brasileiro SA, a Brazilian government-owned oil exploration and development corporation known as "Petrobras."

Petrobras is exploring and developing what has been described as the "huge offshore discovery” of Brazil's Tupi field in Santo Basin near Rio de Janero. According to reports, the site could yield as much as 1 million barrels of oil per day.

The Soros Fund Management LLC holds a stake in Petrobras in the amount of $900 million as of Dec. 31, 2009.

They did this back in 2008. That's how we ended up with McCain for the nominee. What those idiots don't realize (and I hope they don't, heh), is that the only reason why McCain even came reasonably close in that election was because of Palin.

The dumbshit McLame and the rest of his fellow RINO cocksuckers also remain blissfully ignorant of that little ego-deflating detail.

Ummm . . . I seem to remember that Fred Thompson, who I and a lot of us here wanted to be the nominee, didn't want the nomination himself.  If he did, he would have tried for it.  So, the choices were all wishy-washy at best.

I beg to differ, he will have all the MSM at his back despite any picking and sniping they may be doing now, and the power of an incumbency to boot.  If he can stop screwing around with stupid Leftist economic theories long enough to just let the economy cycle naturally, he will have a positive trend line on employment and the economy generally helping him as we go into the last 90 days before the election to boot, unlike Jimmah who just kept driving the truck deeper and deeper into the mud.

He's going to be hard to beat no matter how weakened he looks now.  Just look at how even the Fox News commentators have been falling all over themselves to proclaim Obama the new perfect master of triangulation for making one single compromise after being forced into it, totally unwillingly, and you see the dynamic of an incumbency working for him.

Very true. I heard this morning that gas prices could go to 4 bucks before this summer.
Good thing the community organizer put that 7 year moratorium on the deep water drilling, all while other Countries are drilling away. (sarcasm.)

You may be right about him being hard to beat. He has not spent all of the stimulus funds; so he will have a ton of money and the media cheerleaders in his corner. However, the economy will determine the outcome of the election. I do not see any signs of vigorous growth or a great improvement in unemployment which will doom him..

I think gas prices are the Achilles Heel, as I mentioned in another thread.  Just for cyclical reasons, the economy and employment would improve to some noticeable degree by mid-2012, unless Obama and his gang of Keynesian economist dingdongs actually broke something in the process of screwing around trying 'Fixted' things they don't understand.

With higher gas prices and Helicopter Ben creating money out of thin air, inflation might be just around the corner possibly causing a double dip. There are signs that is happening in the real estate market. So, with a cold winter on the horizon, higher gas prices means pain for a lot of folks. Higher gas prices will kill off any chance of Obama getting elected. Enter Sarah Palin who is an EXPERT in this field who comes to our rescue. She has more experience than Huck, Pawley, Newt, Romney, etc put together. She would slaughter Obummer in a debate regarding energy. He would be the DUMB ass, and all that Ivy League education would do him no GOOD..

The Interior Dept announced today that it will allow Chevron, Shell and 10 other drillers to start up production provided they follow all the regulations that this Admin. has set forth since the blow out. With prices of oil going up, you would never assume that this was politically motivated. Naw.  :hammer:
