The 2nd amendment guarantees our right to own a gun, but doesn't mandate it. There are exceptions to gun ownership, one being that felons can't own a gun. A background check and proper identification is required before buying a gun.
Voting is a right afforded to all American citizens, but not a mandate to vote. There are exceptions to who can vote, one being a convicted felon. The dems feel that voter id is voter suppression even if it allows non citizens to vote, or people to vote more than once.
Does DUmmy DFW advocate for voter ID as strongly as the left insists on background checks and proper ID before a gun in purchased? If not, then my right to have my vote count and not nullified by a person who shouldn't be voting is infringed upon.
