I did go all "Tea Party" on my brother the other day. He was talking about my uncle's land (he has some land in Tuscon and a machine shop in Long Beach) that he left to us (my brother and me, actually he didn't have a will so it is a huge mess. My Dad and Grandma both agree that he intended for it to go to us but now we have to get an attorney to get it all straightened out). He was trying to figure out a way to avoid paying taxes and I went off on him. Typical liberal, taxes are for "other people". When it comes to them actually paying taxes they want to figure out a way to game the system. Only "The Man" should pay taxes. He was already making plans to get himself out of debt with the spoils from his new found "wealth" (which isn't a sure thing, as I stated above, my uncle had no will).
I bet by the time all is said and done there wont be much if anything left for my brother to live the sweet life. He owes $54k in student loans yet he is doing nothing with his degree and never will. He filed for bankruptcy a few years ago to the tune of $60k yet makes $34k a year. How you get that much in debt when you earn $34k a year is beyond me (and have absolutely NOTHING to show for it except for some photography equipment). He is 49 years old and needed a cosigner to get a car loan, he lives with my Dad and hasn't paid rent in YEARS. His plan with his new found "wealth" is to live on my grandma's land in her house (which is technically half my Dad's, 1/4th mine and 1/4th my brothers....but not until my grandma dies, when my Dad dies it would be half his and half mine) and not having to work. He is already adding up how much money he can make a year off the rental of the farm land. It disgusted me, I had to remind him that my Uncle and Grandpa worked their whole lives to acquire what they had and that is isn't "HIS". I also asked him how it felt to be the recipient of someone else's labor yet do nothing himself to acquire it. I told him he was the stereotypical liberal, wanting to live off other people. He admittedly lived his 49 years irresponsibly but has no problem taking from others.
When Obamacare passed he called me up and said, "How do you like paying for my healthcare". I reminded him that he has a job and he is paying his own portion of his insurance, his insurance premiums will go up for the company he works for and that cost will be passed on to him or he will be let go because of the increase costs of insurance (and other anti-business crap Obama is doing). I asked him where he thinks Obama gets his stash for all this spending. He answered......people like you. I said exactly and asked him if he saw anything wrong with that. He said no, that is how it should be. I told him that at some point you run out of other people's money and I hung up on him.....then called my Mommy to tell on him.
I seriously called my Mom to "tell on him". LOL
