If somebody would have told me what was going to happen to me, I would not have believed them, I would have thought they were crazy. First of all, I was arrested for something I was completely innocent of, something which I had no idea of what was happening. The police were after a family member and got me instead. They made up evidence and are lying through their teeth. My so called lawyer said this kind of stuff happens all the time and that they are using me as "leverage" to get to my family member. He also said that I can't even see the false evidence they are using and I should plead to something I didn't do so this will be over quicker. They also impounded my car and my lawyer said it would be given back in a few days, well it is two weeks now and nothing has happened. My lawyer is out of his office and will not be back until May 5th. I thought the courts' job is to seek the truth, not just pile up as many guilty pleas or verdicts as they can. My life has completely changed because of this, I will never look at things the same again. I am outraged and don't know where to turn or what to do, I can't even trust my own lawyer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

"I thought the courts' job is to seek the truth,..."It is to present their facts that proves you guilty. It is your lawyers job to refute those facts, present alternate facts, that prove you are innocent. The TRUTH lies in between guilt and innocence. My suggestion:Get a new lawyer or don't drop the soap.
