ANN:  Great.  Well, we have some interesting news.  My husband Eddie is on the phone with us.  We live in Southern California, and we're Catholic, active Catholics in our community, and there was a town hall meeting last evening, emergency meeting called by our local parish priest, ordered by our bishop (unintelligible) and the Archdiocese of San Bernardino. They have made the decision that they're going to absorb the immigrants that are coming through because the federal government called the bishop's office on Monday and they're gonna be busing these immigrants to our communities and asking us to open our homes and to house them for up to a month.  The church will reimburse us for any out-of-pocket expenses and we were told not to talk to anybody about it, especially the media.  I'm not especially happy about it.  My husband is a retired doctor, and he will share his concerns with you regarding this matter.  Eddie, do you want to go ahead and talk about your thoughts?

The Catholic church is doing this, then telling the people not to say anything or tell the media.  What's with the Catholic church doing that?  Sounds fascist.

I just heard tonight on the news that it's going to cost $80 thousand to process each one of these invaders and what do we still get?  More poverty, more government dependents and a bigger debt.

If there's a church that needs to have their tax-exempt status reviewed, it's that one.

Obama upped the ante to 3.7 billion.  He can always get the Fed to print up a little extra.  I think they're still pumping out 85 billion a month.

I AM NOT CATHOLIC....you got that? So I know not of what I speak as to the catholic church policy.

But it has always seemed to me that the catholic church in south America has been a big supporter of communism in that part of the world.

Am I wrong?

We should get a bill passed that says all these minors will get citizenship but they must have a family to sponsor them.  Since WE, conservatives, have ALL the money, we can take them in and raise them correctly.  We'll see how the democratics like the voting bloc they were counting on, then.

It would seem that some of the recent statements made by the current Pope - a former South American Bishop/Archbishop - would bear this out.
