US warned on deadly drone attacks

The US has been warned that its use of drones to target suspected terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan may violate international law.
UN human rights investigator Philip Alston said the US should explain the legal basis for attacking individuals with the remote-controlled aircraft.
He said the CIA had to show accountability to international laws which ban arbitrary executions.
Drones have killed about 600 people in north-west Pakistan since August 2008.

42. This is why Pres. Obama can't go after Bush and Cheney.
He would be leaving himself open to prosecution for crimes also. Many war crimes are still being committed on his watch. It is time to change all these policies and bring our troops home, including scrapping the CIA.

It's worked well for Russia to have a veto. I do NOT want the UN to have authority over the US, and maybe, just maybe 0Bama will think twice about subjugating the US to any UN treaties.

We learned from Bush that there is no downside to torturing and killing people based upon either alleged proximity to 'bad guys' or allegations of being bad guys themselves. And when people are located outside the borders where the United States has jurisdiction, they have no rights, period.
This is all perfectly constitutional, which Obama knows well, because he is a constitutional law scholar.
Then why does he constantly ignore the US Constitution?
