(NewsCore) - The only known American soldier in Taliban captivity is training fighters in bombmaking and ambush, according to information reported Sunday from one of his captors and the Afghan intelligence agents working to free him.

It's possible, true is a whole 'nother question.

Young Soviet soldiers captured by the muj occasionally converted to save their butts from death (Slow or fast, depending on who captured you, but death either way).  Some very ugly things are rumored to have happened involving wealthy Arabs 'Touristing' in to pay for the privilege of beheading a captured infidel, back then.

To corrupt an old Brit forces recuiting slogan, 'it's a man's life in the Army, but nobody said it would be a long or pleasant one'.

I hope for his sake it is not true.  Or that he's teaching them how to build bombs that blow up in their face.
