This guy did something so dumb he must be a member of DU. Not only did he hurt himself but he is dragging the employees of his company down with them. Which is sad because he was no longer in day-to-day operations when he made his facebook post.

Clothing company founder Scott Jordan of SCOTTeVEST made some widely criticized comments about his customers in a recent Facebook post by calling Fox News viewers, where the company “primarily advertises” its products, “extremely gullible and easier to sell than other networks.”
Jordan’s post goes on to say that he gets to tell the network’s viewers they are “f***ing idiots while getting rich off them.”
What is it with liberals that makes them think that insulting a large segment of the population a sound strategy?

There's the problem. They don't, think. They simply don't have the capacity to use logic. Especially now with TDS being so prevalent. They just cannot help themselves and they've convinced themselves they are intellectually superior beings.

Why would it not dawn on him that "FOX viewers" are the ones most likely to have jobs and disposable income?

So, the company advertises of Fox because he/they think Fox viewers are easily led morons. But then when the viewers hear of his mouthing off the company's sales dropped? Who's the real moron in this picture?

I was actually contemplating getting one of his products. Not any more.

Supposedly the guy is no longer leading the company (he "stepped down", whatever that means; I suspect he's still on their board, but isn't chairman, CEO or COO). Some folks have called for a boycott. I "get" the point of the company's product, having seen people's phones and MP3 players jerked by earbud cords off treadmills' consoles when the owner got a little too far from the console. And pants pockets are just a little too far for the length of the cords. However, I've used Bluetooth headphones since 2014 and don't worry how far my pants pocket is from the headphones.

I hadn't seen the ads until after this story broke, but they looked like they might be decent for fishing or other sports too. Guess I'll stick with regular fishing vests.
