Redstone gets the "news"

Redstone discovers that Stoning is used as capitol punishment in Iran and boy is he outraged!  If he could, he'd rush right over there and put a stop to this new phenomenon that apparently only occurs within the borders of Iran!

Stoning women to death? Where's the outrage about THIS?

Edited on Wed Sep-29-10 07:07 PM by Redstone
I read today about the woman in Iran who got a "stay of execution" from being stoned to death for adultery.

What the ****? This is the 21st century, Mister Achmedina****face, in case you hadn't noticed.

What kind of ****ing monster orders this to happen? And what kind of mutant, hideous excuses for a pissbucket full of rotting slime would actually throw brick-sized rocks at a defenseless woman until she's dead?

For adultery?

For anything?

I'll confess right here that I've killed human beings. And I still don't feel at all good about it, 38 years on, but at least they were armed and doing their damnedest to kill me first. They weren't a woman with her hands and feet tied. (Edit: Now I know that it's even worse; they BURY THE WOMAN UP TO HER CHEST SO SHE CAN'T MOVE. I don't know if I can take thinking about this anymore. But I must.)

That's not "execution." That's murder, simon-pure, plain and simple. That's an atrocity. That's a crime against humanity.

If we weren't so bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan, I'd be a fervent advocate of doing ANYTHING we could, short of land war (and ONLY because that would cost too many American lives) to bring down those (words fail me) who run Iran.

And round up every single one of those cold-blooded (words fail me again) aberrant THINGS that call themselves human, who have ever participated in the stoning of a helpless woman, and stone THEIR sorry asses to death.

See how THEY like it.

I'll volunteer to pitch the first rock. Hell, I'll I'll volunteer for ANYTHING that would help bring them to rough, swift justice. I still remember how to fire an M-16, even though it's been almost 40 years.

This may not be a very pure DU-ish post, with its violent intent, but God damn it, people, we should be raising a ruckus about this.

Shouldn't we?

I read that thread earlier and most of them made it seem like they had never heard of such a thing from the Religion of PeaceTM.

I did hear that some woman sentence to death by stoning had her sentence changed.  Death by hanging is so much more humane.

Iran Attorney General Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei announced that Ashtiani Sakineh Mohamadi, the Iranian woman accused of adultery and complicity in the murder of her husband, was sentenced to death for the second of two offenses and punished by hanging.

It seems the woman was convicted of adultery and complicit in her husbands murder.

Adultery is punishable by death by stoning, but the murder charge is the more serious and the penalty for that takes precedence, therefore she will be hanged instead of stoned.

(I thought most dummies liked being "stoned".)

Does Redstone realize that the majority of Regressives defend Islam which believes in stoning yet they condemn Christianity which doesn't condone stoning?

I have nightmares about this kind of thing.

I know how fast it can happen. One guy picked up a guy at the bar he was not quite a stranger to the place, but very closeted and publicly a kreestian. The other I know little about since I had left home about a year before it happened. I was acquainted with both of them.

I say that because the DUmmies never seem to realize how evil the Muslims are, and it isn't just the radical ones.  I've yet to see a thread on Skin's Island about how Muslim treats homosexuals.  I'm sure the outrage there would be even greater from a certain quarter over there.

No he doesn't.

I can't keep track of the number of ways that this thread annoys me:

-Redstone  Didn't actually serve in any branch of the armed services yet claims that he saw combat in Vietnam on a self-financed rescue mission.  He's an obvious bullshit artist that needs to have his ass kicked ASAP.

-Stoning has been common practice in many Islamic states for centuries, the Taliban for example, uses it quite frequently in Afghanistan, Somalia, Ethiopia and many other Islamic states. Yet the Dummies turn a blind eye and make asinine comments about Christianity.

I could go on but why bother, the DUmpmonkies prefer to live in denial.

If I recall correctly--and my apologies to Chief S itting Bull if I don't--the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive, who was born in 1949 or 1950, alleges to have been in South Vietnam, working for a private civilian contractor during that war.  A private contractor who did what, I don't think Chief S itting Bull ever illuminated anyone.

Maybe he helped build airport runways or something?

As a professional civilian, I of course could be wrong, as I usually am, but I can imagine cases where some place was under attack, and the private contractors would have to defend themselves.

Is this a credible experience for a young civilian contractor during the war in Vietnam?

I myself have no idea.  All the civilian contractors I know, who were in Vietnam in that capacity, which is four of them, they were all ex-military guys, not young but not old either at the time (i.e., probably in their 30s).

It's been a few years and I haven't tried to dig it up on DU but I remember his story differently;  Redstone was home applying Jergens to his beautiful hand and punching rednecks with his other hand while his brother fought and died in Vietnam.  The family later learned that his brother had fathered a child while in-country and Redstone made it his mission to go rescue the child, bare-chested and guns blazin'.  I remember this absurd story because it pretty much fell in line with the plot of a Tony Hillerman novel called Finding Moon. I know the original post was captured at CU but I believe it was prior to the last crash.

Knew a few fellows that were truck drivers and heavy equipment operators in Viet Nam....where they served was fairly secure but you always had the risk of an attack or sniper fire....the pay ranged from $1,800 to $2,500 per month.

At the same time (early 70's) there was a young fellow trying to get me to go with him to some dam project in the mountains of Peru where the pay was $3,000 to $3,500 per month. I asked the young fellow had he really given that idea much thought...all he saw was the big bucks...I asked him, "Why are they willing to pay a $1,000 more per month for a job where they aren't shooting at you." It finally dawned on him why and he took a truck driving job on the Alaskan pipeline.

Remember, allegedly in real life the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive and the lying tits primitive (the "TomInTib" primitive) hung around with each other during the late 1960s, early 1970s.

It's unfortunate that all of Chief S itting Bull's experiences (or "experiences") led him to a life of violence, drunkenness, and now, neuro-muscular degeneration.

If the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive would've just followed his destiny meant for him, and like his forebears he would've went to work in a textile factory in New Hampshire, by now he would be sitting pretty, what with an enormous pension built up, his enjoying the life of middle-class stability and serenity, and having the esteem and affection of all who know him.

And it goes without saying the world would've been a better place.
