After the video release, Emanuel was condemned for covering up the incident and allowing Chicago police to use excessive force against minorities.[120] Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass wrote that the Emanuel administration withheld from the public the police dashboard camera video of the shooting in order to secure the reelection.[121] Emanuel responded to criticism of the shooting and how it was handled by firing police Superintendent Garry McCarthy.[122] In early December, the federal Justice Department announced an investigation into the Chicago Police Department, a move which Emanuel initially called "misguided".[123] Illinois state legislator La Shawn Ford also introduced a bill to recall the mayor (an effort most pundits claim is more symbolic than practical).[124]

Of course, there's a bunch of in-fighting between the DUmmies on the subject.  But not one of them has the balls to point out the obvious hypocrisy in Ocasio-Cortez's tweet.  She interned for Teddy Kennedy.  So all she has to do is look in the mirror to find someone who supported a person who covered up a murder.

There’s no basis for that idiot AOC or her fans to not support their fellow idiot Rahm Emanuel. You can’t support and vote for someone who is a 48 year veteran of the DC establishment and then turn around and not support the key individuals who are part of that same establishment. Democrats have made their choice extremely clear: They are in favor of “the divine right of Kings”; a ruling elite who should sit in seats of power and everyone else is excluded. Biden is the ultimate ruling elite. Rahm is a member of the ruling elite. He can do whatever he wants and not be held responsible. That’s what the primitives and all liberals voted to uphold. They have no grounds for complaint.
