Military members have contracted zika virus
« on: March 19, 2016, 10:10:14 PM »
The Zika virus outbreak continues to spread concerns are growing for pregnant women because the mosquito-borne virus has been linked with a serious birth defect called microcephaly, characterized by an abnormally small head and brain.

Two U.S. Service Members were Diagnosed With Zika Virus. Two male military servicemen were diagnosed with Zika, according to Admiral Kurt Tidd, commander of U.S. Southern Command.

One military service member was deployed in Colombia and the other in Brazil, Tidd told reporters both men have recovered from their illness and have returned to duty.

In addition, a pregnant female service member stationed in a Zika-affected country was allowed to leave her station early over concerns that she could become infected with the virus, Tidd said.

Hi guys I live in Orlando Florida. I now have 2 zika virus cases reported here. so since zika virus is spread through sex and when a mosquito bites and infected person and then bites another person infecting them I am worried about living here in Florida. Thousands of illegals arrive here each day.  Soon 1 in 5 kids will be born with zika virus.  We need a wall here in florida!

I hate going outside wearing long sleeves shirts and spraying on bug repellent.  SO I will be moving out of florida soon!
